Located in rural Alberta, the Whitecourt Minor Hockey Association is part of a close-knit community that believes hockey should be accessible to all kids. The association started its own hockey swap to help families acquire free equipment for kids to begin their hockey journeys. With Kruger Big Assist donation, it aims to create the Root Beer Inclusion Initiative, where all kids can borrow equipment and play hockey with no formal teams or skill requirements, helping them find their love for the game.

The St. Catharines CYO Minor Hockey League is 100% volunteer-based and has been providing youth programming to the Niagara region for 90 years. Through its 'Take A Shot' program, the league equips kids with new hockey gear and offers marginalized youth and new Canadians a fun and inclusive environment to learn hockey. The association aims to use Kruger Big Assist donation to continue expanding its current programming and is in the process of creating a new female coaching initiative.

As Napierville, QC doubles in population, l’Association du hockey mineur de Beaujeu doesn’t have enough resources to support new families interested in hockey. Currently, it offers free registration for first-year players as well as payment plan options. With a mission to provide an inclusive environment, the association aims to use Kruger Big Assist donation to create specialized programming for neurodivergent players to ensure they feel included and that their differences are encouraged.
