The outer wrap on our bathroom tissue and paper towels is made of low density polyethylene and is recyclable in many communities. The plastic uses the recycling symbol P4. We have begun adding the symbol 4 on many of our products. Please refer to your regional/municipal recycling centre for advice on whether this type of plastic is recyclable in your municipality. Our bathroom tissue and paper towel cores are made from 100% recyclable fibre, and are recyclable.
Our Scotties facial tissue cartons are fully recyclable and accepted in blue boxes or recycling facilities across Canada. In addition, all Kruger Products facial tissue cartons are produced from 100% recycled fibre to minimize the impact on the environment.
Bonterra paper products are wrapped in plastic-free packaging. Specifically, our Bath Tissue and Paper Towel products are wrapped in recyclable paper with water-based inks and glues. Our Facial Tissue products are packaged in 100% recycled – and recyclable – cartons and sleeves. Each tissue carton also features a paper dispensing window to replace the industry standard plastic.
