Born in Miramichi, NB and now based in Fredericton, LYDIA STEWART studied at the University of New Brunswick before earning her Fashion Design Diploma in 2019 from NBCCD. Her debut collection “Nefarious,” showcases of undeniably feminine tailored looks and couture gowns—conceived for the “woman who walks that fine line between elegance and seduction.” She makes judicious use of ribbons and floaty fabrics in florals and garden brights, and will bring that signature femininity to her first appearance in the Cashmere Collection 2021.

New Brunswick’s LYDIA STEWART was inspired by the gentle femineity of the traditional undergarments of the Nouvelle Belle Epoque era. Note the expertly tailored and piped bra-top bodice’s flirty ruffle trim and sassy pink corset lacing. Equally, the pure and simple A-line skirt shows a modern take on the Belle Époque era, with a cheeky double row of ruffles at the hem.
