What could possess an accomplished pianist and business school graduate to channel her energies into fashion? Vancouver designer GRANDI has a remarkably pragmatic answer: “Growing up a size too small for everything, I had to teach myself to alter clothes. My eventual fashion education was my Dress A Week blog project. One year, a garment each week.” Since its launch in 2014, GRANDI’s luxury line of modern art-caliber women’s wear, has earned kudos from VOGUE UK, GLAMOUR UK and appeared on red carpets at the Oscars and at Cannes. GRANDI is sure to bring an artistic approach to her design for the Cashmere Collection 2021. 

There’s certainly no dearth of free-floating imagination in GRANDI’s fantastical Cashmere Collection ensemble. Intriguingly, the NEW Belle Époque theme inspired her to create a stiff-ruffed, tuxedo-bibbed bodysuit topped with a fur-collared vest sporting a dynamic trio of crisp, shell-like shapes at each shoulder. The floor-grazing skirt is a froth of pink-and-white peacock feathers —because, why not?
