JILLIAN JOY UBANDO segued pretty seamlessly from making prom dresses for friends into a full-fledged custom bridal and evening wear business called Jillian Joy Hand Crafted. Classic, timeless silhouettes, some with Filipino cultural motifs, tailored to flatter any and every body are this 2018 Ryerson grad’s forté. Fashion legend Christian Dior is Toronto-born Jillian Joy’s chosen muse for the 2019 Cashmere Collection, as she’s constantly inspired by his elegant, feminine gowns. 

Layers and layers of Cashmere BT went into the seemingly weightless, subtly-ruffled tiers of JILLIAN JOY UBANDO’s sophisticated Cashmere Collection entry. Other feminine details inspired by her legendary muse, Christian Dior, include the accent bows at the shoulders and the overall fit-and-flare silhouette.
