As the sole proprietor of Chavah Designs in Grand Bay, CHAVAH LINDSAY sketches, sews, packs and ships every fabulous custom garment herself. Trained at New Brunswick College of Craft and Design and Humber College in Toronto, Chavah has earned a reputation for flattering “convertible” bridesmaids’ dresses and sparkling cocktail wear. Inspired by Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw’s striking wedding dress, Chavah’s fashion legend is Vivienne Westwood. 

The Vivienne Westwood wedding dress Carrie Bradshaw wore in Sex and the City was CHAVAH LINDSAY’S inspiration for her elegantly sexy Cashmere Collection creation. Chavah says she modernized several Westwood tropes yielding her gown’s bubble-hemmed full skirt and its alluring, lace-appliqued corset-like bustier top.
