Sam Wong Kwok Shing is a fashion and textile designer whose work explores sustainability, material transformation, and emotional storytelling through cloth. Rooted in handcraft and slow making, his practice reimagines textile techniques to create garments rich in texture, meaning, and renewal. His work reflects nature, memory, and the personal connection we form with clothing, materials, care, and craft over time.
Garment Inspiration
Sam’s design is inspired by the invisible movement of sound, translating vibration, rhythm, and crescendo into sculptural form. Hand-built circular modules spread across the bodice like waves of resonance before opening into a structured trumpet silhouette, capturing the feeling of a symphony building in intensity. Each module represents an individual voice, story, or moment of support; delicate on its own, but powerful when brought together into a larger form.
