Known for creating identity-driven designs that celebrate confidence, individuality, and transformation, her work combines sculptural structure with couture craftsmanship.
Garment Inspiration
Funmilayo’s Resonance is inspired by the idea that women embody many layers at once such as strength, softness, pressure, emotion, and elegance, while maintaining harmony. Interpreting the Symphony theme through structure and movement, the design features a sculptural collar symbolizing presence and protection, a corset that brings control and form, and a fluid silhouette representing emotion and change, while the Cashmere bathroom tissue highlights the contrast between softness and strength.
