Chavah Lindsay is a womenswear designer based in Grand Bay-Westfield, Canada. She trained in garment design and construction at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in Fredericton and later studied fashion marketing at Humber College in Toronto. Chavah is the 2024 winner of the Cashmere Collection and returning for the upcoming 2025 showcase, where she continues to bring her East Coast roots and storytelling into her work.
Garment Inspiration
Chavah’s design is a tribute to the Bay of Fundy. It features a high-low skirt to reflect the tides, with sheer, curled layers that move like seaweed or jellyfish in the water. The textures pull from ocean life and it’s all sculpted from bathroom tissue to reflect both delicacy and resilience.
